Reviews for this release

We've gone live in production with this script [2.0.9] and the result so far is outstanding. We now know that the bad performance doesn't depend on SharePoint and we can narrow down performance issues to ADFS. That is invaluable information speeding up our work. Great script, easy to use and installation (with Farm account) is done within minutes. Thanks a lot!

Great script and I want to thank you for sharing. I do have a quick question and thought you may be able to help since I have new to SharePoint 2013 farm. We are planning to go live with a new SharePoint 2013 portal using ADFS and I am unable to figure out a way to successfully prime each web application to improve the initial end user login each morning. We have two WFE servers with distributed cache enabled on each and a Cisco Ace load balancer in front of them. What is the best way to warm up a federated web application in SharePoint 2013?

Worked on my SharePoint 2013 environment configured with Claims/ADFS. I did find that I had to increase the timeout in this line to adjust for longer-loading webapps (I increased mine from 500 to 5500): Line 121: Function IENavigateTo([string] $url, [int] $delayTime = 5500) {

Works extremely well with SharePoint 2013 Server. Well thought out and very easy to use. Thank you!

Been using it for the mast month on SP 2013 and it works great, no issues with permission for the script to start in the scheduler like so on the other ones.

Great work, exactly what I needed! The script is well documented, both clear and well written.

My clients love how I have significantly increased their response times/performance for site loads... Very embarrassing to have a customer portal or extranet with ridiculous performance issues! I forgot to tell them to thank my buddy spjeff (aka JJ)! ;)

Is there anyway you can extend this for ADFS/SAML claims based as well? Agreed with Eric, it's nice to have one warm up script for all...

Simple, yet effective! It's nice to have one warm up script that works for both SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013. Also, this one's more robust than other scripts of its kind.
