Warmupscript with LoadBalancer

Hi! Great script. We just need to double check that when we load this on each of our WFEs that when the script runs it seems that it would get directed through the load balancer and although would correctly warm up one of the WFEs, the other ones would not be hit. Are we missing something here? The Farm is using host headers.

Thanks!

Same question here. Looks like developer is not supporting this product. While the script is fantastic, it does not address load balanced WFE which is 95% of the scenario.

Scott discusses this exact topic and provides some real ways to accomplish.

Would be nice if this solution would be updated to account for this as this is needed in my case as well!

Thanks,

Why wouldn't you point your WFEs at themselves (via the hosts file)? This really seems like a non-issue to me.

The best approach is to add 127.0.0.1 for each FQDN on each Web Frontend Server. This way a WFE will always refer back to it self.
